On August 15, 2021, as part of the Independence Day celebrations, Christ the King School in Bangalore, in collaboration with the Sai Dan Foundation and the NTR (NARAYAN THAKURUSING RATHOD) Charitabel Foundation Trust, organized a free health camp for 50 orphaned children. The event aimed to provide essential healthcare services while raising awareness about the Covid-19 pandemic.

Renowned personalities such as Sanjeeva Kulkarni, a renowned director, along with Dr. Manjunath, President of the NTR Foundation and General Secretary of the National Seva Doctors Association, were present at the event. The camp was supported by school staff and members of both the Sai Dan Foundation and NTR Foundation, all of whom played a crucial role in making the event a success.

The health camp provided much-needed medical attention to the children, while also educating them on the importance of hygiene and safety during the ongoing pandemic. The event emphasized the commitment of both foundations to the health and well-being of underprivileged children, especially during challenging times.

Dr. Manjunath, addressing the gathering, highlighted the importance of community health initiatives and the need to support vulnerable groups during the pandemic: “Independence Day is a reminder of our duty to serve those in need. Through this health camp, we aim to provide care, protection, and hope to these children.”

The collaboration between the NTR (NARAYAN THAKURUSING RATHOD) Charitabel Foundation Trust and the Sai Dan Foundation continues to bring positive change to the lives of the underprivileged, with a focus on healthcare, education, and community welfare.
