On October 15, 2024, the NTR Charitable Foundation Trust in collaboration with the Deputy Commissioner of Police (North Division), organized a Free Health Camp & Medical Seminar for the Bengaluru City Police at the RG Royal Hotel, Yesvantpur, Bangalore. This event was aimed at ensuring the well-being of the city’s hardworking police personnel by providing them with essential health screenings and educational seminars focused on health and wellness.

The health camp saw enthusiastic participation from over 70+ police officers, who availed themselves of various medical check-ups including diabetic tests, blood tests, blood pressure monitoring, and general health examinations. The event emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and encouraged officers to prioritize their health despite the demanding nature of their work.

Dr. Manjunath, Founder of NTR Charitable Foundation Trust, expressed his gratitude to the police officers for their dedication to the city and reiterated the foundation’s commitment to supporting their health and well-being. “The police force works under immense pressure daily, and their health often takes a backseat. This health camp is our way of giving back to those who protect us,” he said.

Dr. Sudhakar, an expert cardiologist from Jayadeva Hospital, addressed crucial topics related to heart health, including heart blockages, heart attacks, and other cardiovascular issues. He emphasized the need for regular check-ups and healthy living practices to prevent life-threatening heart conditions, particularly for individuals with high-stress jobs like law enforcement officers.

During the seminar, Dr. Nischita Basappa and Dr. Kavitha Kamath delivered an enlightening session on lifestyle-related medical problems. They discussed the impact of poor lifestyle habits on health and provided valuable tips on how to lead a healthier life by adopting small but impactful changes in daily routines.
