On August 13, 2020, Dr. Manjunath, founder of the NTR (NARAYAN THAKURUSING RATHOD) Charitabel Foundation Trust, was honored by the Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) for his outstanding contributions to the development of government schools in Hunasagi, Yadgiri district. The recognition came in light of NTR Foundation’s impactful work in upgrading school infrastructure, specifically the construction of new classrooms and a fully equipped library.
The foundation’s mission to enhance educational opportunities for underprivileged children took a significant step forward with the construction of new school rooms, providing a better learning environment for the students. These rooms are now fully functional, offering students a safe and comfortable space to focus on their studies.
In addition to classroom upgrades, the foundation also constructed a new library, fully stocked with books and educational materials. The library is designed to promote reading habits and support the students’ academic growth. This initiative aligns with the foundation’s commitment to providing holistic educational support, enabling students to access valuable resources that aid in their learning.
The event, held at the school in Hunasagi, saw the DDPI express deep appreciation for Dr. Manjunath’s dedication to improving education in rural areas. “This initiative by NTR (NARAYAN THAKURUSING RATHOD) Charitabel Foundation Trust is a testament to what can be achieved when communities come together for the future of their children,” remarked the Deputy Director.
