On April 26, 2020, as part of the Basava Jayanthi celebrations and in response to the COVID-19 lockdown, the NTR (NARAYAN THAKURUSING RATHOD) Charitabel Foundation Trust organized a food, mask, and gloves distribution event for laborers at DS Max Sonata. The initiative provided essential supplies to 250 laborers, helping them stay safe and nourished during these challenging times.

The distribution event was graced by renowned Kannada actress Apoorva, director Santhu, and Dr. Manjunath of HCG, along with Vinod and Amresh, who all played a vital role in making the event a success. With the ongoing pandemic affecting livelihoods and access to basic necessities, this timely intervention aimed to support the hardworking laborers who were facing increased difficulties due to the lockdown.

Dr. Manjunath, founder of NTR (NARAYAN THAKURUSING RATHOD) Charitabel Foundation Trust, emphasized the importance of standing by the most vulnerable during such times: “In moments like these, it is our responsibility to ensure that no one is left without support. We are grateful for the efforts of everyone involved in making this event possible.”
