On December 1, 2019, the NTR (NARAYAN THAKURUSING RATHOD) Charitabel Foundation Trust organized a large-scale health camp in Kanakpura Village to mark World AIDS Day. This event provided essential healthcare services to the local community, benefiting around 500 people. The camp aimed to address a wide range of medical needs, offering screenings and consultations for various health conditions.
Here’s a breakdown of the services provided:
- 120 diabetic patients received blood sugar screenings and personalized advice on managing their condition.
- 80 cardiac patients underwent heart check-ups, allowing for early diagnosis and intervention for heart-related conditions.
- 100 orthopedic patients received consultations focusing on joint and bone health, providing much-needed guidance and treatment.
- 70 pediatric patients were given health check-ups to ensure proper growth and development in the village’s children.
- 60 pulmonary patients were evaluated for respiratory issues such as asthma and COPD, receiving care and advice for managing their conditions.
- 70 neurological patients benefited from consultations for conditions affecting the brain and nervous system, ensuring they received the necessary attention for neurological health.
This health camp was part of the NTR (NARAYAN THAKURUSING RATHOD) Charitabel Foundation Trust’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible healthcare to underserved communities. Dr. Manjunath, the founder of NTR (NARAYAN THAKURUSING RATHOD) Charitabel Foundation Trust, emphasized the importance of this initiative: “Health camps like these are vital in rural areas where healthcare access is limited. By offering these services, we aim to improve the overall health and well-being of these communities.”
The camp not only provided immediate medical care but also helped raise awareness about the importance of health management and preventive care, especially in the context of World AIDS Day.
